Steps for using Likas Papaya Soap

Being an avid user of this whitening soap, I realized at the start of the use of this soap its a bit different from normal soaps.

• As it has a bleaching effect, if the soap bubbles left on your body for too long may cause a tingling feel to the skin, in some cases for sensitive skin people it may have a biting feel.
• I experienced this when I first started using it as my skin is very sensitive
• I was told to leave it on for about 3-5 minutes after lathering my whole body, as I couldn't wait for the tingling feel to end, I washed it off after 2 mins
• however, if your skin is normal skin type, you can leave longer period.

My Steps for using Likas Papaya Soap

1.  Lather soap with water and rub onto whole body starting from one area and more on to the next
2. I would start with my legs first and move up the body avoiding the private areas as the skin there is sensitive
3. The skin for the underarms I would cover that area last so that the time for the soap on this area is lesser
4. remember to use up down motion and rub each area at least 20 times (yes I do count it)
5. rinse off well with water
6. this regime can be used after normal body wash or just stand alone (sometimes I just use it alone, especially after getting tanned)
7. Moisturize as needed if you feel that it's a bit dry. The soap has a bit of drying effect.
8. Have to be diligent in using it frequently, I used to use it everyday when I first started. Now I use it 3-4 times a week just to maintain.
9. You will see the bleaching or lightening effect in about a month's usage.

Thank you for viewing this Blog. Hope you can find some good reviews of the Likas Papaya Soap here.

I have been a user of the soap for many years now, since I was a teenager. So it's almost more than 10 years already. And I would say that it has helped me a lot. And I still continue to use it for other purposes such as whitening.

I had terrible back acne in the past that would spread all the way down to the lower back. *sobs* Could not wear much low back clothing and even a spaghetti top would reveal the trauma of the acne & acne scars.

After my filipino friend introduced this soap to me, it was heaven sent. My back acne gradually disappeared. I was able to wear any sort of halter back clothing, I had my confidence back. (yeah people would comment on the skin as it looked bad, I know how it feels) It took about almost 6 months for visible results to be seen for me. I would like to suggest readers to be patient with the results of the Likas Papaya Soap as it may vary with different people.

10 years on, I still use the soap now for maintaining and whitening purpose. Even my friends who use the soap give good remarks for it. And my mother in law too whom I passed the soap to use for her whitening regime, says that she uses it after her normal soap to double cleanse the body, it leaves a very clean feeling on the skin. It's been a few months already and I can see some of her skin pigmentation lightening.

I would like to share this with anyone who reads this blog, as I'm not sure if the Likas Papaya Soap is readily available in your country for you to try. You might like to try Asian, Chinese, Indian speciality shops in your vicinity if they have it available for sale.
